Wait, what's going on?
To make things very simple: the City of San Antonio is letting Google cut corners.
According to the Texas State Parks & Wildlife Code, San Antonio Zoning Codes & Ordinances, and Historic Preservation Rules, Google should have applied for and held public hearings. Google failed to do so.
In direct violation of these laws, the City permitted Google to install Huts in Haskin Park and West End Park without holding the required public hearings.
If you sign the petition, you are asking that the City of San Antonio enforce the law and require Google to Immediately:

- Remove the Fiber Huts from Haskin Park & West End Park & restore both.
- Cancel plans to install Fiber Huts on three single-family lots including one in the Historic Mission San Jose neighborhood.
- Cancel plans to install Fiber Huts in Highland Park, Kennedy Park and Gilbert Garza Park.
- Stop Work on all other Fiber Hut installations until all legal requirements are met.
